Departmental Staff

Hugh McAninch – Acting Depute Headteacher Transition 

Hugh started his teaching career in August 2001 following a four year B.Ed Honours course in Technology at Moray House Faculty of Education, Edinburgh University .

Hugh worked in the construction industry as a Carpenter and Joiner prior to his teaching career.

Hugh was in post at Perth High School for five years were he held the post of teacher of technology and acting principal teacher of guidance for 28 months prior his arrival at St. Columba's.


Craig Smith – Acting Principal Teacher School Improvement

Craig started his teaching career in August 2004 following a Postgraduate course in Education at Moray House Faculty of Education, Edinburgh University .

Craig worked as a freelance designer after graduating from The Robert Gordon University with a B.A.Hons in Three Dimensional Product Design prior to his teaching career.

Craig was in post at Perth High School for 2½ years prior to his arrival at St. Columba's.


Jamie Szultka-Robertson – Teacher of Technology

Jamie started his teaching career in August 2006 following a four year B.Tech.Ed course at The University of Glasgow.

Jamie held a variety of posts in the Chemical and Engineering industry prior to his teaching career.
