Welcome to St John's Academy - Nursery

Nursery is the first step for your child on the road to independance. At St Johns RC Academy we try to make the transition from home to nursery as easy as possible. We recognise the importance of creating a caring environment in which your child will feel relaxed and secure. The nursery is staffed by two job share teachers and 5 ECP'S.

The nursery and Primary 1 class work closely together, planning for active learning. Playswap sessions operate between the nursery and Primary 1, two sessions for both the morning and afternoon daily. During these sessions the children interact with one another and are involved in joint learning activities.
