BUSINESS DYNAMICS

The session 2009/10 Business Dynamics Course was held in the Stagecoach Offices, Dunkeld Road, Business Education senior pupils took part in an excellent business awareness course run by the charitable foundation, Business Dynamics. The programme was sponsored by Stagecoach and was held at The Stagecoach Offices, Dunkeld Road , Perth.

The programme was hosted by the seminar leader Colin Campbell and many other invited speakers who informed pupils all about different aspects of business. During the 2 days, pupils worked within teams, to complete various activities.

All pupils agree that the programme was 2 days of great fun plus full of great learning opportunities.

SCHOOL BANK

A number of S1-S6 pupils are running the school bank in conjunction with the Royal Bank of Scotland, Kinross Branch.

Aileen Barclay (a bank representative) has assisted the group in setting up the bank accounts and teaching the group how to balance the accounts correctly. So far many pupils have applied to open an account. Pupils can pay money into their account through the school bank which is open every Thursday lunchtime from 1.00-1.30 pm in the reception area.

Pupils can pay in a minimum of £1 and a maximum of £50 at any one time through the school bank and can also pay money in at any Royal Bank of Scotland Branch.

Pupils cannot withdraw money from the school bank but can withdraw from any link machine or any RBS branch.

A school bank account can be opened at any time throughout the school year, please ask one of our bank employees for an application pack when the bank is open during a Thursday lunchtime or alternatively contact Mrs Sandilands, PT Business Education for an application pack.
