For more information load: http://www.thecocoaplan.com/ ENTERPRISE NEWSPerth College/St John’s Academy School Enterprise Link University of Economy (WSG) Bydgoszcz Entrepreneur Cup St John’s Academy has once again joined forces with Perth College to enter a team of 4 in an International Enterprise Competition. The competition will be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland from 19-23 April 2010 and is hosted and run by The University of Economy under the patronage of the Mayor of Bydgoszcz. The St John’s entrants, Laura Kelly and Lisa McNiven (both S6 pupils) are, to our current knowledge, the only international school pupils that are participating in the competition. The pupil’s along with Mrs Sandilands, PT Business Education are working with a group of 2 students from Perth College and their lecturer Mrs Liz Courtney. Over the coming months the group will meet regularly to form and strengthen team bonds and to prepare for the competition. All accommodation and meal costs are paid for by The University of Economy and the pupils are self-financing the travel cost of the trip – they are currently organising a number of fund raising events to raise the money required to cover their flight costs. STUDENT INVESTORA number of Intermediate 2/Higher Business Management pupils are currently taking part in the IFS Student Investor Portfolio Challenge. Portfolio Challenge is a UK wide investment game for students with a top prize of a trip to New York. |
