St. John 's Academy Nursery day

The class is staffed by one qualified primary teacher with extensive experience in early education and two fully trained and experienced nursery nurses. The class will have a maximum of thirty children in attendance on any morning or afternoon.

Session Times

• Sessions: Monday – Friday
• Morning: 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
• Afternoon: 12.45 p.m. to 3.15 p.m.

St. John's Academy Primary school day

We do like children to arrive at school on time. The day begins at 9.00am and ends at 3.20pm .

Lunch time is from 12.30 until 1.30pm and there are two intervals, P1 and P2 from 10.15-10.35am and P3 to P7 from 10.40-11.00am .

P1 children when they start school in August, attend for mornings only during the first few weeks. This allows them to adjust to the routine of school life.

• Period 6       - 1435 - 1530  

Parents are asked to ensure that their children are in school by 8.45am , so that they are prepared for the start of the school day at 8.50am .

We encourage all of our pupils to remain on the school premises during the morning interval and lunch break.

Pupils who wish to go home at lunchtime should bring a note to that effect from their parent or carer and give it to their form teacher
