Geography Department - Course Choice S1/S2

Geography is a subject with great relevance in today's changing world. In St John's Academy it is taught in S1 as part of the social subjects course, Geography is then studied in S2 during two block rotations. Pupils have a chance to choose to continue to study Geography is S3 and S4 as part of a two year Standard Grade course. In S5, Higher Geography is offered to anyone with a good pass in Geography, (or another social subject) in S4; and finally for those who have passed Higher Geography, there is a chance to test yourself in an exciting Advanced Higher course in S6.
